The history is the first step in understanding the exact nature of your injury or problem. A detailed history will include information about the following:
- location of pain
- Type of pain
- Cause of pain
- Referral of pain
- Exacerbating and relieving factors
- Previous history of problems etc.
- postural assessment
- Palpation of the spine and surrounding muscles
- Range of motion assessment
- Neurological assessments
- Orthapedic tests
- Xrays if required can be taken.
- gentle spinal adjustments
- Specific stretches and exercises
- Relative rest
- Cryotherapy (ice) or heat application
- Podiatry assessment if required
- Specific trigger point massage
What will our chiropractors do?
For users of this website we have put together a special introductory package to chiropractic fare which covers everything you need in the first four visits to your chiropractor.

- visit 1: your assessment which involves a thorough history and comprehensive examination including postural analysis, nervous system scans, orthopaedic and neurological assessment, and x-rays if required.
- Visit 2: your chiropractor will give you a very specific report on what they have found in the assessment and provide you with a specific diagnosis. if it is decided that chiropractic can indeed help then you will be offered your first treatment
- Visit 3: you will be invited to a workshop where you will be taught about good posture and how to best look after your spine. You will be given the opportunity to further review the results of your assessment and be shown your x-rays. You will be offered a further treatment if required
- Visit 4: you will spend time with your chiropractor working out a specifically tailored program of care.
