BUPA and Chiropractic care at Back to Health Chiropractic Clinics
There are a number of Back to Health chiropractors who are registered with BUPA as providers of chiropractic care. If you receive chiropractic care from these registered practitioners then you will be eligible to make a claim on your private health care insurance with BUPA.
- Please speak to your Back to health practice and confirm the practitioners BUPA provider number and use this to quote in your discussions with BUPA.
- We recommend that you complete the 4 day introductory process to determine if you are indeed a candidate for Chiropractic care.
- Often BUPA require a referral from your General Practitioner in order to approve a claim.
- After the consultation your Back to Health Chiropractor will be able to provide you with a referral letter to your General Practitioner describing your diagnosis, treatment plan and prognosis.
- The amount you will be able to claim will vary according to the details of your private health care policy.
- Once BUPA have approved your care plan then ask them to send you a claim form
- You can claim as frequently as you like but often patients will claim once every few weeks or months.
- When you would like to submit a claim form for care you have received please bring your claim form into the practice and your chiropractor will help you complete the claim form.
- If you have any further questions please speak to the staff and they will do their best to answer your queries.
